Google Play's Integration

Seeing how this happened when I was at work today, Google has apparently gone a step further with Google Play integration into everything that is Google.  Take a look at the Navigation bar on top of any Google page, you know, that black bar with Google links.  See where it says "Play"?  Yup, now you have quick and easy access to the site, regardless of which Google site you are on at that time.  So, what does this mean?

Well, if you are an avid Google user, this is your one stop shop for Apps, Games, Movies, Music, and Books.  This is a place for you to get "stuff" for you Android phone, Chrome Browser, or ChomeOS laptop.

Where did it come from though?  Well Google recently changed the name of the Android Market to Google Play Store.  The reason for this change was to signify that the store was not just for your Android phone, but for everything you come to rely on from Google when it comes to entertainment.

One thing that I think is blaringly missing, however, is the fact that Google did not integrate the Chrome Web Store into Google Play...yet.  If this is to be the "one stop shop" for everything Google, then integrating your Chrome experience fully into it would make perfect sense...especially if the Chrome Web Store took on a more "Google Play look".  I have to admit, I have never been a big fan of the Chrome Web Store layout, it isn't the easiest method of finding stuff.
